Weddings in Croatia 2021

Hi friends,

how are you? We hope you’re holding up and are staying positive as much as possible, because what else can we do in the face of these unbelievable times?

It’s been a tough few months, we won’t lie, but after initial disbelief and a fair share of meditation, we’ve accepted things we can’t change and are focusing on what we can do.

It’s hard to tell what 2021 will bring, but we believe that whatever happens, things will be better and lighter.

To say that we’ve missed weddings this summer would be an understatement. And while it was necessary for that to happen, we’re doing everything we can to ensure that summer 2021 comes back with a bang yet safely.

We know that celebrating love is so vital to all of us. We know that many of you have faced disappointments and sadness, having postponed your weddings or eloping. We also know that every single one of us will do our best to celebrate together once again.

So here are some of our thoughts, promises, and recommendations for weddings in Croatia 2021.

Virtual wedding planning really works. We’re here for you.

Yes, most destination weddings are usually planned virtually, but while it’s impossible to travel to check the venues or meet with your vendors at least once, trust the virtual meetings. We know, we’re all a little fatigued from zoom, but it works!

We’re offering free online wedding planning consultations as well as wedding venue consultations, so you can ask all the questions you have.

We’re also here for you as much as needed during the entire wedding planning process via email, zoom, Skype…anything!

Flexible booking and payment system

Since it’s tricky to predict what will happen in the upcoming months, our vendors have implemented a flexible booking and payment system to make sure you’re comfortable and relaxed.

Yes, flexibility is everything

Yes, that’s the word of the moment! Our vendors and we are flexible, but so should you too. Many processes and traditional ways of doing things have changed, so we all need to work with what we have.

Maybe the specific flowers you like won’t be able to travel from abroad. Maybe you’ll need to cut your guest list in half or ensure the restaurant has everyone’s contact. Take a deep breath and accept it.

The guests are the priority

Everyone’s safety and comfort is priority number 1. Before confirming your wedding plans, talk to your family and friends, and see how do they feel about attending a wedding.

This will help you understand where’s everyone at and help with planning your numbers.

When it comes to save-the-dates, we recommend sending them out a little later than usual. Everyone will completely understand.

Celebrate outdoors

The beauty of destination weddings and weddings in Croatia is that 99% of the venues are outdoors! And that’s the best place to be in coronavirus times.

Book for summer and early fall

While we’re optimistic about the year 2021, we still want to minimize the stress and anxiety of planning a wedding, so we recommend aiming for a wedding in the summer and early fall, skipping spring. That’s June, July, August, September, and early October.

Live stream your wedding ceremony

If you find out that some of your guests won’t be able to travel to your wedding, stream your wedding ceremony live! It’s so simple yet plays such a significant role in including more of your family and friends on your big day.

Stay healthy

While taking care of everything else, don’t forget to take care of yourself! It’s always a good idea to eat healthy, exercise and take vitamins and it’s the best idea now!

There are plenty of budget ways to exercise at home and find delicious healthy recipes.

Follow the guidelines and travel updates

First and foremost, we all must follow the Covid-19 guidelines given by scientists and specialists. Now and until this is over. That means keeping up with them now, so all of the countries can contain the virus. It also means keeping up with them during the events and weddings.

We are closely monitoring them all the time and will keep all of our clients updated.

The same goes for travel restrictions – everyone must know all the latest developments. If you’re not sure – drop us a line, and we’ll update you on the latest!

Oh, and make sure you’re using the official government resource and not social media for your updates!
