Living in Norway, we would not have been able to arrange everything on our own, and we both agree; except for the decision to get married of course, the best choice we made was to hire Milda as our wedding planner! She is very creative, organized and available; we always received swift answers to our questions. Milda assisted with everything, from planning to organizing, booking and paperwork, and she and Mario also followed us on the wedding day to make sure everything went as planned. It did, and we are very thankful. One of the things we enjoyed the most was that we could really relax and focus on ourselves and our guests on the wedding day. “We made the decision to get married at Fort George on the small island of Vis and at the time the Fort was being renovated. Until we visited in May, Mario and Milda worked tirelessly to provide us with updates on the renovations whilst working with us on the creative and legal aspects. Milda has such a creative flair and completely understood our vision to have a wedding which was more of a relaxed affair. She worked with her local contacts to provide some really great additions to the wedding such as flowers, menus and a wedding arch, which were completely to our taste. Milda and Mario provided support throughout the year and when we visited the island four months before our wedding they spent an entire day giving us a tour of the Fort but also neighboring islands to meet farmers and sample some of their local wine! It was a really special visit for us. Milda suggested and booked the most amazing restaurant for us in Split for the arrival of our guests and also booked a restaurant for a drinks evening the next day in Vis. She went above and beyond helping us with our plans outside of the actual wedding and both of their local knowledge made the experience very relaxing. On the day everything ran smoothly and was completely organized from dressing the Fort, to arranging the logistics of moving people to a boat and back to the Fort again. It really helps that both Mario and Milda are absolutely lovely people but they are also extremely professional and fantastic at their jobs. We would wholly recommend them to anyone getting married“

“We knew we wanted to get married in another country and we knew it wouldn’t be easy. Once we met Milda and Mario all of our worries settled. From the moment we sat down with them we felt that they really grasped exactly what we wanted for our big day. Even though we lived 3000 miles away from Croatia we had no trouble contacting and discussing the wedding. Milda was extremely thorough in every detail regarding bookings and budget which really gave us a sense of ease. She constantly provided us with options based on our requests and helped us stay within our agreed budget. Once we arrived in Croatia a week before our big day Milda met us immediately. She assisted us on all last minute meetings, wardrobe failures, tastings, and whatever unexpected incidents pop up when planning a destination wedding. Everything went so smooth it was unbelievable. From the rehearsal dinner two nights before to the ceremony to the reception, everything was perfect. We couldn’t have done it without them, and come to think of it, we wouldn’t have wanted to. Over those ten months of planning we never felt like we were not their top priority. Thank you Milda and Mario for giving us a day we and 85 others will never forget.“

“My wife and I got married on the beautiful island of Hvar, in Croatia. With the help from Dalmatia Events we managed to plan the whole wedding from Norway and it turned out even better than we pictured it and pretty much exceeded our expectations. My wife, who is quite the perfectionist, had a very specific idea about how she wanted the decorations and flower arrangements to be, so she was quite nervous that things may not turn out how we wanted them to be. However, we quickly found out that these are very professional people, who do their outmost to fulfil the clients’ demands and wishes. We were on a budget, and didn’t have very high hopes for a very grand wedding, but Dalmatia Events helped us get good local deals and made the whole wedding look like a million dollars! It would be wrong to say that I will be a recurring customer, but I have no problems whatsoever to recommend Dalmatia Events to anyone who are looking into getting married in Croatia.”
